Fundraising Set for Arts & Culture Relief Fund
September 3, 2020 - “Shut downs and pivoting measures to navigate through the pandemic have taken a toll, making a financial impact on the arts, culture and creative sector. Stages at performing arts venues went dark; art vendor events were postponed or canceled for the season; and tours and performances by musicians went silent. The pandemic affected the industry in numerous ways across the country — even at the local level in Tuscarawas County.”
ArtsThrive Program Returns with a Focus on Marketing
February 28, 2020 - “Returning for a second time, the ArtsThrive Program will focus its learning objectives on marketing topics for artists and creative individuals and businesses.
The series of three workshops were decided based on feedback from artists that participated in the first ArtsThrive series and a poll that was offered on Tuscarawas Arts Partnership’s website and social media.”
TAP to Offer Professional and Business Development Workshops
August 9, 2019 - “The Tuscarawas Arts Partnership received a grant award from the Ohio Arts Council to help fund its newest program, the ArtsThrive Program. The ArtsThrive Program is a series of professional and business workshops geared toward artists and arts organizations and businesses that want to take their artistic endeavors to the next level.
The goal of the ArtsThrive Program is to provide resources and tools for artists to help their art career or business.”
Third Annual Arts Signing Day Honors Seniors
June 2, 2020 - “For its third-consecutive year, the Tuscarawas Arts Partnership and its partners hosted the Arts Signing Day for Tuscarawas County’s high school seniors to recognize individuals who are committing their education and careers in the arts and creative-based careers.
This year’s Arts Signing Day accommodated its program with social distancing guidelines. Nevertheless, high school seniors from across Tuscarawas County’s school districts were recognized for their creativity and commitment in the arts and creative careers.”
Tuscarawas County Commissioners receives updates from TAP
November 4, 2019 - “The Tuscarawas County Commissioners recently received updates from the Tuscarawas Arts Partnership Executive Director Wilma Mullet on arts in the county. During her presentation, Wilma Mullet noted some of the key events TAP hosts each year, including Arts Signing Day for high school seniors, the ArtsThrive Program, and ArtyParty.”
TAP honors students for career in the arts
May 8, 2019 - “It was an evening of celebration at the Kent State Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center for graduating high school seniors in Tuscarawas County’s school districts. Fourteen seniors were publicly honored at the Tuscarawas Arts Partnership second annual Art Signing Day as they made the decision to pursue a career in the arts and creative-based fields after graduation.”
Tuscarawas Arts Support Grant Makes Initial Awards
May 7, 2020 - “Tuscarawas Arts Partnership (TAP) is excited to announce the recipients of the first Tuscarawas Arts Support Grant, which was established to provide additional funding support for arts-based projects and programs within Tuscarawas County. Several local organizations applied and were awarded funding from the Tuscarawas Arts Support Grant.”
First annual Arty Party draws a crowd to My Museum
November 3, 2019 - “The Tuscarawas Arts Partnership’s first annual Arty Party drew a crowd to the My Museum Tattoo Studio on Sunday afternoon. TAP Executive Director Wilma K. Mullet estimated that more than 250 people visited the event, which included 150 entries in an art show featuring students in kindergarten through grade 12 from throughout the county.”

May 3, 2018 - “The Tuscarawas Arts Partnership put its best foot forward during a recent event held at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas, where the organization celebrated graduating seniors from Tuscarawas County schools who were being celebrated and supported for their choice to enter an arts field of study in college.”
